We strive to support pet owners through trustworthy medical expertise while upholding a standard of care that reflects righteousness, empathy, and excellence.
Dr. Melinda Everhart, DVM — Owner
With over 30 years of veterinary experience, Dr. Everhart leads Animal Clinic of Whiteford with compassion, wisdom, and respect for the bond between pets and their families. She provides individualized care grounded in clinical excellence, clear communication, and lasting relationships, ensuring every patient is treated with dignity and every client in Whiteford and throughout Harford County feels valued and supported.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Everhart has served as a volunteer EMT for more than 40 years and continues to actively serve her community. She was recognized as Top Responder in 2023. She supports 4-H, Scouting America, and Beachmont Christian Ministries with a strong commitment to youth development and community outreach. She is also a member of the Maryland 4-H All Stars, a prestigious honor and service-oriented organization recognizing distinguished leadership and lifelong dedication to the 4-H program, where she serves as Northern District Representative. In addition, she volunteers with her church in support of Care Food Night hosted at Calvary Baptist Church, helping provide meals and encouragement to families in need.
She also serves on the boards of P.L.E.A.S.E. and George's Place at Strohmers Farm, supporting families across the community.
At home, Dr. Everhart is the proud mother of two sons and enjoys time with her beloved dog, Paislee.
