1. Your pet is better at hiding illness than you think.

Dogs and cats are incredibly good at masking pain. By the time they're showing obvious symptoms, they may have been uncomfortable for weeks or even months. That's why routine wellness exams are so important.

2. Preventative care is almost always less expensive than emergency care.

Routine exams, vaccines, parasite prevention, dental care, and annual bloodwork can catch problems early—often before they become serious (and costly).

3. We never judge you for asking questions.

Whether you're a first-time pet owner or you've had animals your whole life, we'd much rather answer a "simple" question than have you worry at home. If you're unsure about something, just ask!

4. Weight matters more than most people realize.

Even a few extra pounds can increase the risk of arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, and other health problems. Keeping your pet at a healthy weight can add both years and quality to their life.

5. Indoor pets need veterinary care, too.

Indoor cats still need vaccines, parasite prevention, dental care, and wellness exams. Many common health issues have nothing to do with going outside.

6. Please don't wait if something feels wrong.
